अगर आप SSC CGL 2025 की तैयारी कर रहे हो, तो आपके लिए मैंने एक मेंटरशिप सीरीज शुरू की है। इस ब्लॉग में आपको वो सारी जानकारी मिलेगी जो तैयारी शुरू करने से लेकर एग्जाम तक आपके काम आएगी। जो सवाल आपके दिमाग में आते हैं जैसे कि कौन-सी बुक सही है, कहां से पढ़ें, मॉक कब देना चाहिए – इन सबका जवाब आपको यहां मिल जाएगा।
अब बात करते हैं मॉक टेस्ट की
तैयारी के दौरान मॉक टेस्ट बहुत जरूरी होते हैं। एक बार जब आप सही बुक्स फिक्स कर लो, उसके बाद अपने लिए मॉक टेस्ट भी फिक्स कर लेना। इससे आपको ये समझ आएगा कि आप कहां स्टैंड करते हो और क्या सुधार करना है।
सबसे पहले बात करते हैं मैथ्स की:
कंसेप्ट क्लियर करने के लिए:
किसी भी बुक की ज़रूरत नहीं है। कंसेप्ट किसी अच्छे टीचर से सीखो, चाहे फ्री हो या पेड। उसके नोट्स बनाओ और उन्हें बार-बार रिवाइज करो।
प्रैक्टिस के लिए बेस्ट बुक्स (इनमें से एक ही चुननी है):
- किरण पब्लिकेशन की बुक – इसमें टाइप-वाइज़ क्वेश्चंस दिए गए हैं और आसान से लेकर टफ तक लेवल है।
- राकेश यादव सर की बुक – इसमें लेटेस्ट पैटर्न पर सॉल्यूशंस हैं और बुक एरर-फ्री है।
- पिनाकल की बुक – नई लेकिन पॉपुलर बुक है। डिजाइन, सॉल्यूशंस सब कुछ बढ़िया है।
मेंस की तैयारी के लिए:
- राकेश यादव एडवांस बुक – इसमें थोड़े ट्रिकी और ब्रेनस्टॉर्मिंग क्वेश्चन हैं जो दिमाग खोल देते हैं।
- गगन प्रताप की मेंस बुक – इसमें सारे पुराने मेंस के क्वेश्चन हैं और बहुत अच्छे सॉल्यूशंस भी हैं।
अब बात करते हैं इंग्लिश की:
कंसेप्ट क्लियर करने के लिए:
बुक की ज़रूरत नहीं है। फ्री या पेड कोर्स से सीख सकते हो।
ग्रामर के लिए बेस्ट बुक्स:
- नीतू मैम वॉल्यूम 1 और 2 – दोनों बुक्स में रूल्स के साथ-साथ प्रैक्टिस क्वेश्चंस भी हैं।
वोकैबुलरी के लिए:
- नीतू मैम की दोनों बुक्स में 70% वोकैब हो जाएगी।
- बाकी के लिए MB बुक से कवर कर सकते हो।
- अगर फिर भी वोकैब की अलग बुक चाहिए तो:
- एसपी बक्षी – ग्रामर मत पढ़ना इससे, सिर्फ वोकैब काम की है।
- ब्लैक बुक – सिर्फ वोकैब के लिए फेमस है।
कंप्रीहेंशन के लिए:
- अलग से कोई बुक नहीं चाहिए।
- नीतू मैम वॉल्यूम 2 और MB बुक से अच्छे से प्रैक्टिस हो जाएगी।
- न्यूज़पेपर या अलग बुक लेने की कोई जरूरत नहीं।
रीजनिंग की बात करें तो:
- कंसेप्ट वीडियो से क्लियर करो, जहां अटक रहे हो वहां नोट्स बनाओ।
- प्रैक्टिस के लिए PDFs उठाओ – CGL, CPO, CHSL के प्रीवियस ईयर पेपर से करो।
- कोई बुक खरीदने की ज़रूरत नहीं है।
- बाकी प्रैक्टिस मॉक टेस्ट से हो जाएगी।
GK/GS और करेंट अफेयर्स:
थ्योरी के लिए:
- वीडियो से पढ़ो, नोट्स बनाओ, वही बेस्ट है।
- अगर बुक चाहिए तो:
- किरण की कलरफुल वन-लाइनर बुक – इंपॉर्टेंट टॉपिक कवर करती है।
MCQs के लिए:
- किरण की MCQ बुक – टॉपिक वाइज क्वेश्चन दिए गए हैं।
- पिनाकल की बुक – छोटे-छोटे सॉल्यूशन के साथ क्वेश्चन दिए गए हैं।
कंप्यूटर:
- कंसेप्ट वीडियो से पढ़ो।
- प्रैक्टिस के लिए किरण की बुक से कर सकते हो।
टोटल रिकमेंडेड बुक्स:
सारे सब्जेक्ट मिलाकर टोटल 10 बुक्स बताई हैं। अगर आपको लग रहा है कि बुक्स ज्यादा हैं, तो याद रखो – ये तैयारी का हिस्सा है। जब आप डेली रूटीन और गाइडेंस में चलोगे तो ये बुक्स कब खत्म हो जाएंगी, पता भी नहीं चलेगा।
अब क्या करना है?
अपने लिए 1-2 दिन में बुक्स फाइनल कर लो। और मॉक टेस्ट भी शुरू कर दो। ये सारे स्टेप्स फॉलो करके आप सही ट्रैक पर रहोगे।

Now let’s talk about mock tests
During preparation, mock tests are very important. Once you fix the right books, then also fix mock tests for yourself. This will help you understand where you stand and what improvement is needed.
First let’s talk about Maths:
For clearing concepts:
There is no need for any book. Learn concepts from a good teacher, whether free or paid. Make notes and revise them again and again.
Best books for practice (choose only one of these):
- Kiran Publication Book – It has type-wise questions from easy to tough level.
- Rakesh Yadav Sir’s Book – It has solutions based on the latest pattern and is error-free.
- Pinnacle Book – A new but popular book. Design and solutions are very good.
For Mains preparation:
- Rakesh Yadav Advance Book – It has tricky and brainstorming questions that open up your thinking.
- Gagan Pratap’s Mains Book – It has all the previous mains questions with very good solutions.
Now let’s talk about English:
For clearing concepts:
No need for a book. You can learn from free or paid courses.
Best books for Grammar:
- Neetu Ma’am Volume 1 and 2 – Both books have rules along with practice questions.
For Vocabulary:
- 70% vocabulary will be covered from Neetu Ma’am’s both books.
- The remaining can be covered from the MB book.
- If you still need a separate vocabulary book:
- SP Bakshi – Do not study grammar from this, only vocabulary is useful.
- Black Book – Famous only for vocabulary.
For Comprehension:
No separate book is needed.
- Practice well from Neetu Ma’am Volume 2 and MB Book.
- No need for newspapers or any other book.
Talking about Reasoning:
Clear concepts from videos, make notes where you get stuck.
For practice, use PDFs – practice from previous year papers of CGL, CPO, CHSL.
There is no need to buy any book.
Other practice will be done from mock tests.
GK/GS and Current Affairs:
For theory:
Study from videos, make notes – that’s the best.
If you need a book:
- Kiran’s Colorful One-Liner Book – Covers important topics.
For MCQs:
- Kiran’s MCQ Book – Topic-wise questions are given.
- Pinnacle’s Book – Questions with small solutions are given.
Computer:
Study concepts from videos.
For practice, you can use Kiran’s Book.
Total recommended books:
Altogether, 10 books are suggested for all subjects. If you feel the books are too many, remember – this is part of preparation. When you follow a daily routine and guidance, you won’t even realize how quickly these books will get completed.
What to do now?
Finalize books for yourself within 1–2 days. And start mock tests as well. By following all these steps, you will stay on the right track.
